As someone who served in the Air Force, having been stationed at the Pentagon, then continued on as a DoD/Military contractor for another 8 years - I dedicated over 12 years of my life to working in and with the military. That service brings a camaraderie with other veterans and an understanding of the sacrifices they make above and beyond a civilian oriented career.
